Skilled at full start to end project development for over 10 years:

1)     Front-end: Worked with subject expert and design agencies to design webpage layouts. Developed the pages using HTML, Javascript and jquery. Incorporated setting up pages for good SEO search results, accessibility using World Wide Web Association (W3C) industry guidelines. Setup pages for mobile sometimes low bandwidth devices including ipads, iphones and android devices.

2)     Database: Designed, built and optimized relational databases.

3)     Development: Developed a number of sites using PHP, Drupal CMS PHP and wordpress CMS. I have collaborated with agencies, subject mater experts to design and develop requirements for web and facebook sites. Developed appointment scheduling apps for Novamed and Syclo. Implemented several E-commerce sites and complied to PCI (credit card industry) security standards. Setup a number of web email templates for mailing users for various reasons and webmonkey. I have deployed a number of web blogs, FAQ boards and forums.

4)     Web Analysis: Analyzed website traffic using google analytics and web request log analyzers. Worked with marketing to make conclusions about traffic and set actions.

5) Performance:  Tuned-up of websites using chrome network, firefox firebug and           query analyzers to fix slower performing pages. I have experience with http web services.

6) Webserver administration: I have deployed and supported servers and websites as in apache and tomcat on Linux and windows natively and in a cloud virtual machine(VM). I have also deployed MS IIS on windows. I handled the web security on several sites. Well versed in windows, Apple and Linux systems.

A world leading financial software company with cloud, e-commerce, mobile, workforce and HANA database offerings.

 

 

Position: Buildmaster for SAP.com International website in 158 countries

Working with developers and operations I designed and executed the release steps in the development and QA environment of the adobe CQ/AEM java environment.  The steps had to be clearly written and verifiable.

I also worked on some small maintenance projects on Adobe CQ5 / AEM components.

Position: Webmaster for SYCLO.com

 

A world leader in mobile workforce applications for notebooks, MS CE devices,  ipad, iphone, blackberry and android devices.

 

Developed many Drupal 6 and 7 PHP / mysql applications on a Rackspace Linux cloud server including Syclo’s Corporate Resource Center. I was in charge of managing this server and developing the applications with co-developers. Also used responsive styles and developed mobile web apps.

I supported .net and home grown PHP applications on windows IIS server including the corporate software fulfillment center. I handled the PCI compliance security scans and successfully dealt with the spammers. We were doing a lot of e-commerce.

 

Once Syclo was acquired by SAP in 2013, I completed the SAP security policy documents and  ported the Linux and windows servers and apps to SAP VMs.

Position: Application Team Lead - Web
Developed and tested Java Web applications to effectively support business requirements within Membership, Employer, Provider and Health Care Account areas, and implemented changes on WebSphere application servers.

Health Care Account (HCA) Rewrite

This process modernized and enhanced the Health Care Account transaction processing including incentives, rewards, claims and adjustments.
Tasks: Physical Design, use cases, wiki documentation, reviews, construction of key transactions (its a headless java application) and SQL query optimization.

Incentives / Rewards application

This project modernized and added many features to the Incentives processing.

Tech:  Built Magna data services for DB2 access by the HCA portal’s Java objects.

Blue Access for Members website online HCA Health Statements

Provides members online access to a document ( PDF) highlighting their HCA account activity including incentives,  rewards and claims.
Tasks: Coordinated with vendors and  led / coordinated a small team of web developers, network engineers & security resources. Construction tasks included enhancing,  integrating and testing Java code and a https web service into the members website. We used the Teamsite Interwoven CMS to update certain items on the website.

Portfolio builder website to compare insurance products

This website was used to determine the best insurance option based on a few questions.
